Plate heat exchangers

Brazed heat exchangers type XB are made of stamped and brazed plates, which form channels for the passage of the coolant. The turbulence of the flow and the countercurrent design ensure efficient heat transfer.

The number of plates depends on the required heat output, temperature range and allowable pressure loss.

Gasketed plate heat exchangers type XG consist of two base plates with stamped plates sandwiched between them with gaskets.

The heat exchanger plates are fixed very precisely by means of guide pins.

Gasketed heat exchangers use plates of several sizes. The number of plates depends on the required heat output, the temperature range and the allowable differential pressure. The exact performance of the heat exchanger is ensured by selecting the required number of plates.
