Ultrasonic flow meters

Siemens offers two types of ultrasonic flowmeters: wetted flowmeters and clamp-on flowmeters. This gives the end user maximum flexibility in choosing the technology that best suits their needs.

SITRANS F US ultrasonic flowmeters are used to measure the flow of electrically conductive and non-conductive liquids.

  • Max. 3% solid impurities;
  • Max. 3% air and gas;
  • Max. 350 cSt.
Applications:
  • supply of raw water from water treatment plants • treated waste water;
  • power generation and public service enterprises;
  • Oil and gas industry;
  • irrigation systems;
  • cooling water installations in industry and power plants;
  • installations for the transport of non-conductive liquids.

SITRANS F US ultrasonic clamp-on flowmeters provide high measurement accuracy while minimizing installation time and maintenance costs.

SITRANS F US clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters have six product families, each designed for specific applications:
  • FUS1010 and FUP1010 General purpose flow meters suitable for a wide range of applications;/li>
  • FUE1010 Energy flowmeters are ideal for thermal/energy industry metering applications;/li>
  • FUH1010 Oil flowmeters are ideal for crude oil, refined oil or LPG applications. There are three applications: Interface detectors, volumetric flowmeters and mass or standard volumetric flowmeters;/li>
  • FUG1010 Gas meters are ideal for most industrial applications with natural or process gas;/li>
  • FUS1020 general purpose flowmeters are suitable for most clean liquid applications.
