Implementation of a reversible heat pump project

Activ25 implemented a project to introduce a reversible heat pump with a capacity of 250 kW for the needs of hot water supply at the enterprise.

The production of hot water was provided by secondary energy sources, namely, the removal of heat from air compressors through recuperation and partially met the needs of the enterprise.

An additional thermal power of 250 kW allows you to completely cover the need for hot water in the enterprise.

The water temperature at the outlet of the heat pump reaches 55 degrees. Through an intermediate heat exchanger, water is heated in two storage tanks with a volume of 50 m3 each.

Engineers of the Activ25 service center carried out supervised installation and commissioning work at the customer’s site.

The reversible heat pump can optionally operate in chiller mode and produce cold water for process needs or workshop air conditioning.
