Construction of the main oil product pipeline

Activ25 has firmly established itself as a leader among suppliers of energy efficient equipment: generation of electrical and thermal power, cooling systems for energy-intensive industries, compressor equipment and much more.

Not resting on our laurels and mastering new equipment and technologies, our company took part in the project “Construction of the main oil product pipeline”.

In December 2016, an agreement was signed with Activ25 for the supply of a complete block-modular building, the task of which is to control pumps on the main product pipeline. The structure is a frame structure with a coating and a roof, which includes a block of electrical rooms and a control room.

The key equipment in the project are three ALTIVAR 1200 high-voltage frequency-controlled electric drives manufactured by Schneider Electric, each with a capacity of 570kVA (477kW), 6kV.

A distinctive feature of this type of drives are:
  • minimum dimensions (for mounting in a container);
  • HMI panel 10 inches;
  • separate control of air cooling of the control part;
  • easy access to the control part;
  • easy access to the transformer;
  • protection of the cabinet, transformer and electronic components 3C2 (chemically aggressive environments) in the base
  • configuration;
  • improved layout (delivery in one block in assembled form of modules up to 1 MW);
  • power supply of the control part from the built-in UPS Schneider Electric;
  • Individual protection for each cooling fan.

For the system’s own needs, a complete transformer substation 6/0.4 kV with a capacity of 2 x 160 kVA was installed in the block-modular building.

In April 2016, the delivery of the project was fully completed, after the installation of the equipment, the employees of the Activ25 service center, together with the specialists of Schneider Electric, carried out commissioning. The end of January 2017 was marked by the successful launch of a section of the main oil product pipeline, which will reduce the cost of transporting oil products within the country by an impressive 30%.
