Evaporators and condensers

Evaporative coolers and condensers provide cooling by evaporating sprayed water from the heat exchanger surface. In such systems, excess heat is transferred from the fluid to be cooled (this can be oil, oil emulsions, glycol, chemical solutions, etc.) through a heat exchanger to the environment.

Evaporative coolers are used to cool clean water without polluting it with precipitation.

It is an effective alternative to dry cooling using finned tubes and fans, as well as open cooling towers connected to plate, shell and tube or tube heat exchangers. Since direct evaporative cooling occurs on the surface of the tube bundle through which the liquid to be cooled flows, the advantages of both evaporative and direct cooling are combined here: low final temperature of the liquid and the ability to do without pipelines for connecting additional cooling equipment.
